The definition of penpals:
Penpals are people who regularly write to each other, particularly via postal mail.
A penpal relationship is often used to practice reading and writing in a foreign language, to improve literacy, to learn more about other countries and life-styles, and to make friendships. As with any friendships in life, some people remain penpals for only a short time, while others continue to exchange letters and presents for life.

Personal experience:
I started in the penpal world about a year ago, it's been an awesome year, getting new penfriends worldwide, learning about different cultures. The best is mixing scrapbooking and penpalling, I have met so many wonderful creative people, it's amazing what you can do with a piece of paper and some stickers.
I also started to collect washi-tape and stickers, these are so important for me! I love decorating the letters, putting a lot of love and care on every single letter.
I made this blog because I wanted to share with everybody what an amazing activity-hobby this is!
Love,
Perla :)
